The park's primary function is to provide access to the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail. It doesn't offer much more than that, but there are a couple of nice places to sit and it is well maintained.

There is picnic table near the entrance under some nice shade trees and another at the other end of the parking lot sitting on a raised brick patio. They are both in very good condition.
The parking lot is in good condition with plenty of room and parking. Park hours and rules are clearly posted. There is a regularly serviced trash can and a pet waste station near the trailhead.
No alcohol is permitted and dogs must be on a leash.
Nice little place to park and hike on the tow path. One of our favorite spots.
The porta-potty is regularly serviced. It was fairly clean and stocked with toilet paper and hand sanitizer.
