If you wanna know more about your bike, or about biking in general, plus want some expert mechanical work done on a bike, Brimstone is the absolute best place to go! Hands down, there is not another bike shop that I would go to for anything. What ever biking related you want or need, go to Brimstone first. You will not be disappointed!
Bought a Blue Bicycle with DI2 electronic groupset from Brimstone. Took longer to ship in than anticipated but with holiday mixed in I can understand. All guys were very polite but upon getting my bike home I found it was tuned VERY incorrectly. Min/max adjustment screws on rear derailleur didn't appear to even be touched. Firmware for the electronic system was also not updated from the shop. Lastly ask them to put the Brimstone shop sticker in the bag and not on the bike. When I tried to remove it from mine, it pulled off the factory graphics underneath with it...looks awful. Again nice guys, but I expected better for such an expensive bike.

These guys are great! I had my vintage schwinn tandem tuned up last summer there and have also been in on several other occasions as well (whether it's to buy a tube, borrow their air pump, shop for a new bike, purchase gloves for my son, etc.) it's always the same great service!
Stopped in during a ride because we thought the gear shifter was broken. Fortunately they were able to diagnose and resolve the issue by cleaning out the accumulated gunk. Great customer service considering they could have hit us up for a new shifter.
